Hankook Tire Europe GmbH is searching for IT Service Specialist (m/f/d)
Your Tasks:
- Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer systems, software, and hardware components.
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions for future reference and analysis.
- Administer and maintain computer networks, servers, and other IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and backups to minimize downtime and security risks.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical IT services.
- Track and monitor the usage, allocation, and disposal of IT assets to optimize resource utilization and control costs.
- Coordinate procurement and deployment of new IT assets according to established procedures and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement remediation measures.
- Stay informed about emerging security threats, trends, and best practices to proactively mitigate risks and safeguard IT assets.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a related field
- Certifications Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is requeired. CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows) and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email clients). MacOS, Linux is beneficial
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Proficient in German
