IT Service Specialist (m/f/d) (Hankook Tire Europe)

Hankook Tire Europe GmbH is searching for IT Service Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Tasks:

  • Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.                                                                          
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer systems, software, and hardware components.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions for future reference and analysis.                        
  • Administer and maintain computer networks, servers, and other IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.                                                                          
  • Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and backups to minimize downtime and security risks.                                                               
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical IT services.
  • Track and monitor the usage, allocation, and disposal of IT assets to optimize resource utilization and control costs.                                                               
  • Coordinate procurement and deployment of new IT assets according to established procedures and budgetary constraints.                                                                 
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement remediation measures.                                                                          
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats, trends, and best practices to proactively mitigate risks and safeguard IT assets.            

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree  in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support or a related field
  • Certifications Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) is requeired. CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+,  is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows) and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, email clients). MacOS, Linux is beneficial
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts and protocols.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficient in German
