Hankook Tire Europe Technical Center (ETC) based in Hannover, Germany is one of Hankook Tire’s five global R&D centers (along with Korea, United States, Japan, China) and is responsible for the development and testing of tire solutions for European road conditions – working together with premium European vehicle manufacturers. Indoor test operation and quality control for European tire production in Hungary are also controlled by ETC.

The following position at our location in Hanover is to be filled on a permanent basis:

Expert for Tire Standards and Regulations

Your Tasks:

       A diverse, challenging and exciting activity in the R&D area of an internationally operating company:

  • Representative in the subordinated committees of ETRTO
  • Member of the common ETRTO coordination committee
  • Observing the (tire related) activities of the technical working groups of

          - The technical working groups of ETRTO
          - All task force teams of ETRTO, UN/ECE and ISO

  • Reporting the status of running activities to Central R&D
  • Close collaboration with various departments (product and process engineering,
    test, sales, marketing, production, etc.)
  • Cooperation with our R&D Center in South Korea

Your Profil:

  • Long experience in the tire development 
  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an international working environment
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of resilience and flexibility
  • Willingness to travel abroad regularly, sometimes for several weeks per year
